Ardglass is a beautiful village with a maritime flavour sited on the slopes of Green Hill (The translation of 'Ardglass'). Ardglass is part of County Down in Northern Ireland. The village has six castles dating back to 14th and 15th centuries. Lukes Port cottage is in Quay Street which meanders lazily around the rocky coastline of the harbour area. Lukes Port cottage is the ideal base to explore Ardglass and the surrounding area

Ardglass golf course is five minutes walk away from our cottage, it boasts spectactular views of the coast line and is well worth a visit.

Ardglass Marina is about two minutes walk away and is well worth a visit. For those who just wish to sit and relax in our patio area you can watch commercial boats and pleasure craft come and go throughout the year.

For wining and dining in Ardglass there is variety of restuarants and pubs that are a delight to visit and try out.
